Early Writings pg. 213 ...."the prophecy concerning them has been fulfilled".

Great Controversy pg.21....Israel's day as a nation favored and blessed of God would be ended....

   The doom of a whole city, a whole nation, which had once been the chosen of God, His peculiar treasure."

           SDA church wrote;

"Signs of the Times" , Nov.7 1939 pg.5,7....."However widely Protestants disagree on other beliefs, there is one doctrine regarding which there seems to be almost complete unanimity of opinion at least so we judge.... from perusing the evangelistic literature of the day. We refer to the belief that the Jews are still God's special people and that they are yet to have a national home in Palestine... Some few of this once favored people will receive the Jesus whom their forefathers rejected and slew; but as a people, they have long since ceased to have any significance. For the same reason Palestine will never become the home of the Jews; there would be no purpose in it."

Ezekiel 13:1-9

  3Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! 

  6They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.

   7Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken?

   8Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD.

   9And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
